Multi-client capability

Multi-client capability means one office keeps many separate sets of books in a single interface: its own rights per client, switching without logging in again, and analyses across all clients.

Definition

Without it, every client becomes a separate installation or login — with the result that one employee juggles twenty logins and nobody has an overview. That is the difference between a program for one business and one for a fiduciary office.

Rights are the delicate part: an employee should see the clients they look after and not the others. And the office’s duty of confidentiality requires that this separation exist technically, not only organisationally.

What the software must be able to do

Check: clients within one installation, rights per client and per employee, switching without re-login, analyses across all clients, and a complete export per client in case of a change of fiduciary.
