The Swiss market imposes requirements that an international solution usually lacks — it is built for other legal systems. Buy from abroad and you notice at the year-end close, in the VAT filing or with the first payroll declaration. These are the points that decide in this category:

Driving and rest hours (ARV1)The ARV1 ordinance sets driving, working and rest hours for professional drivers, with a duty to record them. The solution has to produce the evidence demanded at an inspection.
Heavy vehicle chargeThe performance-related heavy vehicle charge is levied by weight, emission class and kilometres. Anyone unable to pass it on per job carries it themselves.
Customs declarationImports and exports are declared electronically to the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security; the assessment decision is at the same time the voucher for import tax and therefore for input tax deduction. Software must carry customs tariff number, origin and weight per article — without them no declaration is possible.
