Construction agreement
The national agreement for the main construction industry sets minimum wages by wage class, the annualised working-time calendar, premiums and the treatment of travel time; declared generally binding, it applies to practically every business in the industry.
Definition
The annualised calendar is the distinctive part: work follows a calendar with different weekly hours across the year, and the balance is settled through an hours account. Time tracking that only counts weekly hours cannot calculate that balance.
Added to this are wage classes with minimums, premiums for night and Sunday work, allowances for travel time and meals, and bad-weather rules. Payroll that does not know the agreement is not inconvenient, it is wrong.
